Dreams Explained
Dreams: Some horribly twisted short stories which at times tend to become nightmares as the story progresses.

So, as I was saying, my dreams are moderately stupid. Some person who has a degree in dreams (ignore the sarcasm) has said that we tend to dream about the things we thought about while we were going to sleep. I beg to differ milord. I went to sleep thinking about my mobile's ever extincting storage and woke up sweating from head to toe as I dreamt about the Nun standing in my balcony and I swear to god I didn't even open the door of balcony for an entire goddamned week.
The other day, I watched Stephen King's 'IT' and dreamt about meeting Tyrion who was serving wine to Tony Stark which I am sure never happened in Game of Thrones nor in Avengers or any Iron Man movie. (Hey Iron man is a Stark!?!? Coincidence? I think not.)

So, This is what I have concluded from my study about Sigmund Freud's theory. Although it only explains dreams from the point of view of only 1 psychologist.
Sigmund Freud a renowned psychologist believed that dreams are a window into our subconscious. He believed they reveal a person's:
- Unconscious desires
- Thoughts
- Motivations
Which means if you dream about winning a medal, someone must have won a medal and that has influenced you or you are appearing for an exam or a competition. Sometimes we also dream about things which might not be socially desirable the way I dreamt about cannibalism. It indicates strong aggressive feelings and also hatred.
The bizzare dream about Nun says that I may fear it and have often thought about the subject. Dreaming about Tyrion and Tony Stark suggests that I tend to imagine about different series and could also be thinking about trying to somehow involve the two of them.
It must be understood that the functioning of brain on thoughts and dreams is not clearly understood yet. It is a theory which proved true for some. However, many have argued or agreed on this theory.
The movies we watch, the articles we read and the songs we listen too sometimes get stored and our subconscious is working on them. As rightly said, we only use 10% of our brain's true potential. Perhaps, dreaming is only a fraction of what we are yet to learn.
So, keep on dreaming and try to learn more about yourself, maybe you would understand your inner emotions and channelise your potentials in a better manner.
