The New Me!!

I decided to update my blog and now I'll be posting about literally everything!!!! So, basically I've gotten rid of all the boring and cliche blogs. After identifying that my true potential lies in presenting ideas in a satirical, (funny) manner and writing inspirational blogs, I decided to stick with it and let go of my setbacks. From today, I'll be posting only whatever I like! Also, 'Girl with Ink' has a nice ring to it and many friends too have liked the name. I loved the topic ' The new me!!' and have decided to explore it. Hope ya'll like it.

Many times, we tend to forget ourselves and get lost in the race. We end up choosing subjects, projects and make friends with people who may not be our type and we find ourselves losing the 'me' part. At times we go on pushing ourselves to work or act the way we find it socially desirable. We tend to follow others and try to be like them. All this ends up choking up the 'real me'.

Despite living in the 21st century, we let ourselves go and try shape according to the societal norms. These norms are set by us and they end up derailing us from all our dreams. We lose our focus and pay attention on the views that the society approves.

I believe it's high time to change ourselves and our views. If  we stand strong and are correct morally and ethically, no one can stop us. Without holding up let it go and discover your true potential. Identify your strengths and explore them, practice your skills and with time you shall be perfect. Achieve the goals you've set up for yourselves and forget about others. Maybe people will mock you or even try to pull you down, say no and stride ahead without losing confidence. If the future doesn't hold any assurances, mud wrestle it and snatch away what belongs to you.

Losing yourself is never the correct answer, so dive in, swim up and show everyone the new me.

I have often made the wrong decisions and wasted all my energy in focusing on the conventional methods. Whether I failed or not is a different issue but I wasn't comfortable or happy with it. It gave me no joy to follow others and at times felt like letting it go. Well,  I have let go of everything which made me unhappy, I don't care about how people perceive me. I have chosen an unconventional field and aim to succeed in it. I may trip and fall but now, I have the strength to lift myself and start with a new vigour.

If you too, have faced or are facing a similar scenario, let me know in your comments. Let's find ourselves again and deal with life in our way.
